Reflections on 2022 – A Year of Growth, Challenges, and Triumphs

The year of 2022 has ended. It’s been a journey filled with both highs and lows. Yet in the midst of it all, I’ve been tested, grown and achieved new milestones in my business and personal relationships.

I would use the five words that best sum up my experience in 2022:

• Bumpy
• Sweet
• Stretchy
• Relief, and
• Inspiring

Bumpy

Despite the bumps along the road, I have managed to grow and achieve new milestones in my work life over the past year. Taking on more clients than ever before, raised my fees, worked less than 16 hours a week, and even won another coaching award as the Best Career Coach. It hasn’t been easy but geez was it worth it!

This growth period was not without it’s challenges though, there were days when I had to push through despite feeling overwhelmed and uninspired. Well that’s what makes us human isn’t it?

Sweet

My relationships with my loved ones also went through some ups and downs this year. While there were some clashes here and there, overall we experienced more sweet moments together than anything else. These memories are especially precious to me today as they will stay with me forever no matter how far away we may be from each other physically or emotionally in years to come.

Stretchy

This was also a year of stretching myself beyond what felt comfortable or safe, enabling me to turn discomfort into resilience. It helped me gain clarity on what I like and dislike in life which was invaluable for helping me make decisions going forward.

Relief

As much as this year has been about growth, it has also been about letting go of things that no longer served me – like that one entanglement from my past – which gave me a sense of peace and relief regardless of how uncomfortable it may have been initially facing them head-on. Inspiring

Last but not least, this past year has been extremely inspiring for me as well due to witnessing the transformation of my clients first-hand; seeing the results they created as they worked through their challenges was truly remarkable!

This entire experience has given me an even greater appreciation for what is possible when you commit wholeheartedly to your dreams and goals – no matter how big or daunting they may seem right now!

Conclusion:

All in all, 2022 has been an incredible journey filled with more highs and less lows. I’m grateful for all that this past year has brought into my life; from challenging moments that pushed me out of my comfort zone to sweet blissful memories shared with loved ones – each moment has left its mark on who I am today and will remain cherished forever!
